This is a quick recipe for delicious main dish, it's not traditional, but it's part of my kitchen for many many years.

- 300 g pork strips
- 2 tablespoons veg. oil
- ½ cup onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- ½ cup bean sprouts
- ½ cup snow peas
- ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
- ¼ bamboo shoots, sliced
- ½ cup celery, sliced diagonally
- ½ cup carrot, sliced diagonally
- 20 ml light soy sauce
- 1 chicken stock cube, crumbled
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
Preparation:
- Heat half the oil in a wok or panl, add pork and cook until it changes color. Remove from pan.
- Add the rest of the oil to the pan, add onion and garlic and stir-fry for 2 mins.
- Add celery and carrot and stir- fry 4 mins.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir-fry for 5 mins.
- Return pork to wok, stir to combine and warm through. Serve with cooked rice.
Tips: You can add various vegetables according to your taste, I always experiment :)
