Great recipe especially for those who love lean food or simply like the taste of vegetarian recipes. They are great as addition to other food or as a main dish during lent.

- 4-5 large potatoes
- 1 onion
- 200 g flour
- 1 bag of baking powder
- 50 ml of oil
- 3 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 and 1/2 tsp salt
- water as required (30-50 ml)
- First boil potatoes and before that wash, peel and cut them into pieces.
- Once potatoes are finished, drain and blend them.
- Grate or finely chop the onion, and if you don't want to feel it in the burgers, fry it shortly.
- Place mashed potatoes and onions in a large bowl for kneading, then add flour, baking powder, oregano, salt and pepper and finally add the oil. The amount of water that you add can vary from 30-50 ml depending on how well you have squeezed potatoes in the beginning.
- Knead well mixture with hand, dough should be smooth and thick enough to be able to form a pretty potato burgers.
- Bake in oil coated pan or even better, on a pan coated with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees until they get a nice golden color as the photo.
