I tried these scones at my mom's friend, I was thrilled how good they were, so I immediately asked for the recipe and I made them yesterday. They turned out great, I must have eaten 7 till now :) They are very easy and fast to prepare.
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 600 g boiled, cooled and mashed potatoes
- 600 g flour
- 220 ml oil
- 1 flat tsp salt
- 1 tsp vegetable seasoning (Vegeta)
- 1 activated yeast (40 g cube diluted in 100 ml water and 1/2 tsp sugar)
- 1 egg and sesame seeds for coating
- First prepare potatoes, you'll need 600 g of potato puree.
- While you boil potatoes, prepare the yeast, dissolve it in 100 ml lukewarm water and a little sugar, and leave to activate.
- Then, knead dough from all the ingredients and leave dough to rest a little.
- Divide dough into two parts and roll out a crust from each part with a thickness of 1 finger.
- Cut circle forms with a glass and line them on a baking tray aligned with baking papers.
- Coat scones with egg and strew sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in preheated oven at 220 C degrees until they get a nice rosy color.
