I got this recipe from my mom who always keeps almost rotten bananas in her fridge :)))) (don't tell her I said this). She buys 2 kilos of bananas and she's the only one who eats them, so normally they'll rotten eventually. So, she basically needed a way to use her blackened bananas and convert them from one food to another. This is it, the result of conversion, you'll love it!
Ingredients:
Preparation:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 baking powder (10 g)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- a little ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 4 mature bananas crushed
- 100 g chopped chocolate
- 100 g crushed walnuts
Preparation:
- Using a mixer, mix eggs and sugar.
- Then, gradually add the rest of the ingredients.
- Add crushed bananas, chocolate and walnuts in the end and mix until you get a fine smooth mixture.
- Place mixture in an oiled mold or a pan and put to bake at 180 C degrees for about 40 minutes. Check with a toothpick if your cake is ready.
- After cooling, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top or decorate as desired.
