It has probably happened to you too. You sit quietly, and out of nowhere, you start craving something sweet. That was me today. I kept thinking about those cherries in my freezer and how to use them. Sour cherries and chocolate are a classic pair, so the decision was easy. I opened my recipe folder and baked these beautiful muffins. I have already eaten two with a cup of coffee, and I regret nothing.
Ingredients:
Some cravings are not weakness. They are inspiration wearing a sweet disguise.
Ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 80 ml
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar (10 g)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate
- 3 tsp cocoa
- 100 g crashed chocolate
- 150 g frozen cherries
- Mix the egg and sugar, add vanilla sugar, baking powder, cocoa and soda. Slowly add the milk and oil and make sure there are no clumps in the mixture.
- Fill the muffin mold to half, and add to each pieces of chocolate and frozen cherries 2-3 pieces. I overfilled them, don't repeat my mistake :)
- Bake in a heated oven for 20 minutes at 200 C degrees.
