This is one of the most exploited foods in my kitchen :) Or it used to be. All my family loves it and it's good even when cold (if there's any left).
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 500 g macaroni or other pasta (I buy small macaroni)
- 3 eggs
- 250 ml yogurt (buttermilk or sour milk or even milk) (8,5 oz)
- 400 g ricotta (or 250 g crumbled white cheese)
- salt
- oil
- cheese for topping (optional)
- Cook pasta in salted water. When done, drain and place in an oiled baking tray.
- Add crumbled ricotta or white cheese all over and mix slightly. If ricotta is unsalty, add salt before adding it in the pasta.
- Mix eggs with yogurt and add salt and pour on top.
- Bake at 220 C (430 F) degrees until lightly browned. I like them more crunchy so I bake a little longer and even at max degrees.
- Before the end of baking, you can add some cheese on top and return the tray in the oven for 2-3 minutes just to melt the cheese.
