COMPOTE WITH QUINCE AND APPLES

I love autumn. It's my favorite season. Maybe because I was born in November :) I love the look of autumn, its colors, the falling leaves! I love the smell of autumn in my home, the smell of quince, apples, cinnamon, baked pumpkin, roasted chestnuts...

I often prepare compote in autumn, I love the feeling of warmth in my home. To go under the blanket with a glass of compote and a favorite book.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium quince
  • 2 medium apples
  • 1-2 handful of cranberries
  • 1.5-2l water
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of mixture of nutmeg, cardamon, ginger and cloves in powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar (10 g)
Preparation:
  1. Because I used nonsprayed fruits, I just cut them into pieces and put them in water to boil. If necessary, first peel apples and quince, then cut them in pieces, then put them in a pot with water.
  2. Bring them to boil, add cranberries and leave to simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  3. In the end, add spices and honey.
  4. Stir and serve warm.
