Quick and tasty cake that melts in the mouth. The orange gives a beautiful aroma, and if you like, you can add a cinnamon. The syrup gives the final touch, making the cake soft and delicious.
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 100 g of sugar
- 200 ml of milk
- 200 ml of oil
- 1 cup semolina (200 ml cup)
- 100 g crushed biscuits
- 100 g of crushed nuts
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar 10 g
- 1 pack baking powder 10 g
- grated crust from one orange
Syrup
- 400 g of sugar
- 400 ml of water
- juice from 1 orange
- Beat eggs with sugar and slowly add other ingredients and mix well.
- Bake in a pan number 32 at 180 C degrees for about half an hour or while well baked.
- While baking, make the syrup, let the sugar boil with water, let it boil for 10 minutes and finally add the orange juice.
- Warm syrup is poured over warm cut biscuit (not too hot).
- Leave covered to soak well.
