Tasty caramelized cookies, quick to make, and even faster to eat. I'm not really a fan of lokum cookies, but I like the chocolate locum in such combinations. Here in Macedonia, lokum is available everywhere, if you don't have it in your place, you can substitute it with jelly bonbons or walnuts or whatever. I used chocolate lokum, meaning, it's a lokum with chocolate glaze. I made 1/3rd of the given quantity ingredients and got 12 cookies. You can also form balls from this dough.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Ingredients:
- 250 ml milk
- 300 g sugar
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 250 g butter
- 300 g crushed quality biscuits
- 200 g crushed nuts
- chocolate lokum as needed
- chocolate glaze if wanted
Preparation:
- Fry the sugar until it is caramelized.
- Then add the milk and stir until the sugar is melted again.
- Add the butter and chocolate and let them join together nicely.
- Finally add the crushed walnuts and biscuits and mix well to smooth the mixture.
- If you have a cookie mold, put half of the mixture, arrange lokum in length, then add the remaining half of the mixture and tighten it. If desired, add chocolate crumbs or glaze on top.
- After it cools down and gets tight, you can cut cakes and serve.
- I did not have a mold for cookies and half a mixture I had previously poured into a foil, I ordered the lokum, so I added the other half and made a long imperfect square manually. However, I recommend using a mold to ease it.
