SIMPLIFIED TRILECE (WITH 2 MILKS)

This recipe is a simple variation of the famous trilece, it's very easy to prepare and the taste is the same. I've simplified the procedure of preparation, lowered the sugar amount and I cut off 1 milk. Still delicious! When you try this version, I guarantee you'll love it and you'll forget the old way of making trilece. Just to remind you that the regular trilece is made with 3 types of milk.

Ingredients:

Biscuit
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Milks
  • 500 ml of whipped cream
  • 1 liter of milk
Topping
  • 250 g ready caramel
Preparation:
  1. Beat eggs with sugar until foamy, and slowly add flour, baking powder and vanilla and mix carefully with a wooden spoon.
  2. Put to bake in a rectangular oiled pan No. 40-42 and bake first 10 min. at 200 C degrees, reducing the temperature to 180 C degrees and baking for another 10 minutes. Check with a toothpick if the biscuit is baked.
  3. After baking, stab biscuit all over with a fork so that the milk can penetrate more easily.
  4. Whipped cream is mixed with milk with a spoon, both should be at room temperature. Pour this mixture over the hot biscuit. Allow to soak for 10 minutes then apply caramel.
