I made this kuglof for the occasion of slava / nameday of my father Pande (Panteleimon) which fell in Friday and was a fasting day. It is made very quickly and tastes delicious. I literally had only 1 hour to make all preparations for the dough and to prepare myself for going.
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 1 cube of yeast
- 50 ml of warm water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 300 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tablespoons chopped olives
- 100 ml of carbonated water
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 2 tablespoons oil and 1 tbsp for kneading
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds
- a little melted margarine to coat the mold and top
- Put the yeast in lukewarm water with sugar and just mix it to dissolve, it should not be activated.
- Then add the other ingredients and mix well.
- Sprinkle the palm with 1 tbs oil and knead the dough briefly.
- Transfer the dough into the mold pre-lined with margarine, spread it well, apply melted margarine on top and leave it in a warm place to double the volume.
- Once risen, set it to bake at 180 C degrees for half an hour.
- Remove and cover with a towel after baking and remove from the mold after 10 minutes.
