BLUEBERRY PRESERVE

Blueberries in our country are harvested exclusively from mountain areas. There may be blueberry plantations, but for me the real blueberry is the mountain blueberry. 
Although I like to eat it fresh, I often freeze it for the winter, and sometimes I make a little sweet preserve or juice.
In this recipe I used 2 kg of blueberries. 


 Ingredients:
  • 2 kg blueberries
  • 1,2 kg sugar
  • juice from 1 lemon




Preparation:
  1. First the blueberries are washed and should be well cleaned from the leaves and twigs.
  2. Lay in pot, row of blueberries, row of sugar, row of blueberries, row of sugar and bring to a boil. 
  3. Let it boil for about half an hour, stir from time to time. At the end add the lemon juice and leave to boil for 5 more minutes.
  4. Put the hot sweet in jars and close them immediately.
