BAKED APPLES WITH WALNUTS, HONEY AND PUMPKIN PRESERVE

Delicious autumn dessert that will satisfy all your senses. I made two apples for a start, for me and my husband, one apple per person is enough. Preparation is easy, even if unexpected guests appear, you can make this beautiful dessert in no time. The preserve I added was pumpkin preserve, but you can add whatever you have. I think apple goes great with pumpkin, quince, fig...
 Ingredients:
  • 2 apples
  • a few halves of walnuts
  • 1 tsp of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • some butter
  • sweet preserve as needed (pumpkin, fig, quince)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
 Preparation:
  1. Peel the apples and cut into halves. Hollow the middle.
  2. Place nuts in the hollows. Sprinkle apples with vanilla sugar and cinnamon on top.
  3. Place a small piece of butter on top of walnuts and sprinkle with a little bit of sorbet from the sweet preserve you will use.
  4. Let them bake at 200 C degrees for about 15 minutes. Don't forget to put a baking paper on the pan.
  5. When they start to get a little color on the edges, remove from oven and pour over honey and add pieces of sweet preserve.
