Delicious, personal and loving cookies! An ideal dessert to share with your partner for Valentine's Day, they are made very quickly and eaten even faster. And yes, in the last 10,15 or even 20 years, Macedonians too celebrate Valentine's Day together with the feast of St.Triphun. Macedonians support every feast that is dedicated to love. So, I strongly suggest to combine these great chocolate cookies with a bottle of red wine and enjoy the both feasts in one day!
Ingredients:
- 200 g crushed petit beurre biscuits (7 oz)
- 200 g crushed hazelnuts (7 oz)
- 3-4 teaspoons Nutella
- about 70 ml of fresh orange juice (2.3 fluid oz)
- 100 g dark chocolate (3.5 oz)
- heart shaped mold
- Crush the biscuits and hazelnuts, add Nutella cream, add some orange juice and mix with your hand. Add orange juice until you obtain a dough that should not be soft, but needs to be compact and smooth.
- Put the dough on the working surface, stretch it in thickness of about 5 mm and take out forms using the mold.
- Then, melt the chocolate and glue cookies with melted chocolate. You can also use Nutella for gluing. Put them in the freezer for a short time and then coat them with melted chocolate and decorate as desired.
- Allow them to cool well in the fridge.
