SPINACH AND FETA CHEESE ROLL WITH CORN FLOUR

This recipe was sent to me by my aunt from Zagreb, she was constantly telling me how these rolls are awesome, so I give them a try 2-3 days ago, and indeed, they are really great. I love making food with filo, especially when spinach is included.
Ingredients:
  • 500 g of filo sheets for pie
Cream filling
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml of yogurt
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 200 g corn flour
  • 100 ml of oil
  • a little salt
Spinach filling
  • 500 g cheese
  • 200 g spinach
And more
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • sesame seeds
Preparation:

  1. Prepare the filling first by simply mixing the eggs with the other cream filling ingredients.
  2. Take 4 layers, place 2-3 tablespoons of cream filling on each sheet (except the first one) and place one on top of the other, and on the 4th layer, place spinach and cheese. So sheet, sheet, cream filling, sheet, cream filling, sheet, cream filling, spinach filling. Place spinach filling on the very end. Roll. It depends on how many sheets you have, so you adjust to them. In my pack there were 18 layers, so I made 3 rolls with 4 layers, and made the other 2 with 3 layers.
  3. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Finally pour the mix of milk and oil, cut and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let stand for 15 minutes, then bake at 200 C degrees until well browned.

Tip - use a wider baking tray if you have so there's more space between rolls.
