My son is crazy
about these nuggets, he has tried them in McDonald's restaurants several
times and he loves them, so I decided to surprise him with a homemade
variant. The meat I used was from naturally grown chicken. As they were
great as for the first time and disappeared immediately, I couldn't even
picture them properly.
Ingredients:
- 3 pieces of chicken steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 and a half cup of corn starch
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- half a teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon very finely chopped onion (or dried onions)
- 1 cup flour
- half a teaspoon of vegetable seasoning
- breadcrumbs as needed
- First, mix the chicken with the salt and eggs in a blender. Take from the mixture busing you hands and form small nuggets. Deep each in corn starch and set aside.
- In the same bowl with the corn starch, add water, mustard, garlic, onion, flour, vegetable seasoning and mix well. You can also use a blender to obtain a batter with a pancake density.
- Dip each nugget in this mixture and then in breadcrumbs. I didn't have breadcrumbs, so I skipped that step.
- Place prepared chicken nuggets in the freezer for about 1 hour and then fry in heated oil, preferably in a fryer to evenly brown on all sides.
- Serve warm with your favorite sauce.
