I love making homemade bread in all shapes and sizes. I make bread once or twice a week. My family loves the bread. This bread is delicious, both decorative and beautiful. You can also use it as a substitute for bread sticks.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml of water
- 100 ml of milk
- 50 ml of oil
- 10 g of fresh yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 450 g flour
- 1 egg yolk
- sesame seeds for sprinkling
Preparation:
- First, dissolve the yeast in the water with the sugar and knead a soft and smooth dough with all the ingredients. You can use a mixer first, then finish kneading the dough by hand.
- Put dough in a deeper bowl covered with oil, coat the dough with oil and cover it with plastic wrap to stand and rise for 1 hour.
- Once it has risen nicely, take it out of the bowl and gently re-knead for 20 seconds and form a ball.
- Using a rolling pin, spread it out in an oval shape and transfer it to a greased baking tray or coated with baking paper.
- Cover with plastic wrap and leave for another 20 minutes.
- After that, coat it with egg yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds and a little salt, make a pattern with a fork and bake at 200 C degrees for about 15 minutes.
