I don't eat mushrooms due to allergies. I've end up in the hospital twice because of them :( That's why I stay away from mushrooms, I don't prepare them, and my husband adores them. I was afraid that I could get allergies through my skin if I touched them. But, there it is, my first close encounter with the evil mushrooms happened yesterday! I even liked being so close to them, so cute white sponge balls, they look pretty innocent, right? For me it is a challenge to do something that I haven't done before, I believe that it is for everyone.
I used fresh champignons (agaricus bisporus), probably one of the most used mushrooms in our country. I used 10 pieces and the nice thing about mushrooms is that they are made very quickly, don't require long heat treatment, so you have a ready meal in 20 minutes.
The given quantity is for 1.
Ingredients:
- 10 fresh mushrooms (champignons)
- 50 g smoked bacon (1.7 oz)
- 50 g yellow cheese
- olive oil
- salt and spices to taste (oregano, basil, rosemary, black pepper, dried parsley)
Preparation:
- Wash the mushrooms and remove the stalks.
- Put the stalks, bacon and cheese in a chopper and chop them.
- Arrange the mushrooms in a baking tray (lined with parchment paper), add the spices and sprinkle with oil.
- Then fill each mushroom nicely with the mixture.
- Sprinkle some more spices on top and sprinkle a little oil.
- Bake at 200 C (390 F) degrees for about 10 minutes.
- Serve with a glass of white wine.
