QUICK CHOCOLATE NESTS

My recipe for chocolate nests is made with cornflakes, chocolate, honey, butter and chocolate eggs. These nests are a real Easter treat. I'm sorry I'm late with the recipe, but you can use it next Easter or whenever you want to. Kids love these nests!

They are very simple to make and require only a few basic ingredients. Instead of cornflakes, you can also use expanded rice.

You will also need a large glass mixing bowl, spoon, muffin tin and paper muffin molds.

I made half of this dose.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 90 g cornflakes
  • mini chocolate eggs
  • chocolate crumbs for decoration

Preparation:

Step 1: Prepare the muffin tin

Coat the mold with paper baskets.

Step 2: Melt the chocolate + butter

Heat the chocolate and butter until melted, mix well and then add the honey. Mix well.

Step 3: Add the cornflakes

Pour the cornflakes into the bowl with the melted chocolate and mix well until the whole cornflakes are covered with chocolate.

Step 4: Form nests

To build the nests, place 3 tablespoons of the mixture in a paper basket in the muffin tin. Gently push the cornflake mixture down, forming a shallow hole in the center and bring the cornflakes up from the sides.

Step 5: Cooling

Place the muffin tin in the refrigerator to cool for about 30 minutes to an hour. Then your nests are ready!

Step 6: Serve

Spread out the paper baskets when serving.
