OATMEAL APPLE COOKIES (no sugar)

I invented these cookies myself a few days ago and they turned out delicious and healthy. Most often, during fasting, cakes and desserts are made with a lot of sugar and flour, as well as a lot of oil and margarine. In my opinion, this is very wrong and it is necessary to make healthier desserts in order to really lenten your body and you wanna stay fit.

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples, grated very finely
  • half a cup of oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon of date syrup (or honey)
  • 2 tablespoons of boiled flax seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 handful of dried cranberries

Preparation:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and let the mixture stand for a while for the oatmeal to swell. If the mixture is very soft at the end, add more oat flakes, and if it is too dry to form balls, add a little water. Other ingredients can be added if desired such as nuts or other dried fruits.

  2. On a medium sized tray lined with baking paper, put a teaspoon of the mixture, gently press and form a small disc. Repeat until all mixture is finished.

  3. Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes at 180 C (350 F) degrees.

  4. Let them cool and they are ready to eat.

Cheers.
